Over his three dacades of professional career at IBM, Storage Technology Corporation and Sun Microsystems, he gained extensive technical, marketing and sales experience, including a tenure as the President of Nihon Storage Technology. His business and professional expertise covers computer systems engineering, marketing, business development, marketing management, sales management, market research and general management. He also has extensive experience as a professional interpreter and translator for a wide scope of subject matters.He has worked as an interpreter in diplomatic meetings, IT and high-tech symposiums, pharmaceutical industry meetings, medical seminars and many other subject matters.
He is also a licensed airplane pilot and a radio station operator, giving him an in-depth understanding of aviation and wireless technologies.
He holds a BA degree from the International Christian University, Japan and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University, USA.
Executive Vice President Mariko Usui 臼井 真理子
Mariko Usui has extensive language teaching experience in Japan and the USA. Earlier in her career, she managed an English language school in Japan. For the last 15 years, she has been teaching Japanese language and culture in the Denver Colorado metro area to students and adults.
Her past experience in teaching in Japan and in the US, as well as understanding of the various cultural arts of Japan, makes her an ideal Japanese language and cultural instructor.
She holds a BA degree from the Yokohama National University, Japan and a Teaching Program Certificate from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds teaching licenses from the Japanese Ministry of Education and the State of Colorado.She also holds a teaching license from the Ohara School of flower arrangement. She is also experienced in the art of Japanese tea ceremony from the school of Ura Senke.
